How points and levels work
You earn points when a pin you added is approved: 2 points for warnings, water, signal, camps (they help the next person most), and 1 point for photos, highlights and other notes. An approved review of a local operator earns 3 points. A photo trekkers vote in as a trek's cover earns 10 points, which you keep even when a later photo takes over. If a pin or review is taken down, its points go with it.
